Dental Crowns
Dental Crowns are used to strengthen and restore a tooth to its full functionality and appearance. Also referred to as caps, crowns are custom made to fit over your entire tooth.
We use predominately metal-free crowns or porcelain fused to metal crowns.
Crowns can be used to treat teeth that are weak,, badly decayed, broken or chipped.
Many of the new metal-free crowns are designed and milled using computer technology
Dental Bridges
A bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth.
Crowns are placed on the teeth on either side of the missing tooth space with the " dummy " teeth joined to make a bridge. This is then cemented onto the support teeth and is not removable.
Ceramic materials are now available that are strong enough to allow us to make metal-free bridges.
Using metal-free restorations gives us optimum aesthetics.
